In the past decades, Geo Tecno Tessile has managed to incorporate within its own organization all the manufacturing processes of spinning, yarn testing, warping and weaving in order to have complete control over product quality.
On-going technological innovation, the selection of raw materials and routine tests guarantee a production that is almost totally waste-free (with a 98% yield). We operate proactively, efficiently and with great commitment to satisfy our customers.
SPINNING
To ensure that the entire manufacturing cycle is totally under our control.
The entire yarn production plant enables us to produce yarns of different weights and colours tailor-made to specific customer requirements, starting from the extrusion of polyethylene granulate.
The choice of quality raw materials and on-going in-house testing enable a constant improvement of the spinning process and a greater yield in the weaving phase.
The in-house laboratory equipped with sophisticated equipment enables us to carry out quality control activities, by testing the tensile strength of yarn samples in full compliance with international standards.
WARPING
Accuracy and attention to maximise the end yield.
The process of conveying the yarn from the cop to the beam is effected with the greatest precision.
It is during the warping process that we align side by side all the yarns which are destined to constitute the warp of the fabrics we produce for our customers in different widths. The accuracy with which this phase is executed enables us to maximize our yield to such an extent that the entire manufacturing process produces no more than 2% waste.
WEAVING
The equipment, looms, materials and the strength of the Englishman’s loop.
In the weaving process, the warp thread is interlaced with the weft thread to create a series of Englishman’s loops for the production of hardwearing anti-hail nets, which are lightweight but strong and particularly suitable for protecting crops, available in extra widths and with various types of edges.
The looms we use are subject to constant modernization.
Technological updates, an ever increasing manufacturing capacity and a close monitoring of the entire production process are the characteristics that largely distinguish our company.
